🇹🇷🌐Archman Linux: A Powerful and Customizable Arch-based Distro🐧🖥
Archman Linux is a Linux distribution that is based on Arch Linux, one of the most popular and flexible Linux distributions. Archman Linux aims to provide a powerful, lightweight, fast, visual, and stable Linux experience.

What is Archman Linux?

Archman Linux is developed mainly in Turkey, by a team of volunteers who are passionate about Linux and Arch. Archman Linux follows the rolling release model of Arch Linux, which means that it always provides the latest packages and updates to its users. Archman Linux also uses Pacman, the same package manager as Arch Linux, which allows users to easily install, update, and remove software from the official Arch repositories and the Arch User Repository (AUR).

The latest stable release of Archman Linux at the time of this review offers the Xfce desktop environment. This is the edition featured in the Gallery section below.

How to Install Archman Linux?

Archman Linux uses the Calamares graphical installer, which makes the installation process easy and user-friendly. To install Archman Linux, you need to download the ISO file of the edition you want from the official website or from one of the mirrors. You can also use the torrent link to download the ISO file faster. After downloading the ISO file, you need to verify its authenticity using the sha512sum and gpg signature files. Then, you need to burn the ISO file to a USB drive using a tool like Suse ImageWriter or dd. You can also use a DVD if you prefer.

To start the installation, you need to boot from the USB drive or DVD and select the live session option. The username and password for the live session are both "liveuser". Once you are in the live session, you can launch the Calamares installer from the desktop icon or the menu. The installer will guide you through the steps of choosing the language, time zone, keyboard layout, partitioning, user account, and summary. You can also select some optional features, such as installing the bootloader, enabling SSH, or encrypting the system. After confirming the installation, the installer will copy the files and configure the system. When the installation is complete, you need to reboot the system and remove the USB drive or DVD.

What are the Features of Archman Linux?

Archman Linux has many features that make it a powerful and customizable Linux distro. Some of the main features are:

- Archman Linux is very minimal and lightweight. It can run under 500 MB of memory, as it only uses window managers and some lightweight applications. This makes it suitable for older or low-end hardware, as well as for users who prefer a fast and responsive system.

- Archman Linux is very stunning. It uses flat and pastel colors, and has a consistency among all the UI elements. It also offers various themes and wallpapers, which make it look very clean, minimal, and beautiful. Users can easily change the look and feel of Archman Linux with the Archman Settings Manager, which allows them to switch between different themes, icons, cursors, fonts, and more.

- Archman Linux is very powerful. It provides the latest software and updates, thanks to the rolling release model and the Pacman package manager. It also has built-in support for AUR, which gives users access to thousands of packages that are not available in the official repositories.

- Archman Linux is very user-friendly. It comes with a graphical installer, a welcome app, a settings manager, and a software center, which make it easy to install, configure, and use Archman Linux. It also has some facilitated terminal commands, which make it easier to use Pacman and other common tasks. For example, users can type "pac" instead of "sudo pacman -S" to install a package, or "update" instead of "sudo pacman -Syu" to update the system.

Conclusion

Archman Linux is a powerful and customizable Arch-based distro that provides a minimal, lightweight, fast, visual, and stable Linux experience. Archman Linux is suitable for users who want to enjoy the benefits of Arch Linux, without the complexity and difficulty of installing and maintaining it. Archman Linux is also a good option for users who want to have a stunning and unique Linux system, with flat and pastel colors, and a consistent UI. Archman Linux is not the only Arch-based distro available, and it may not be the best one for everyone, but it is definitely worth trying and exploring.
